What's The Skins & Pins Tour All About?

The Skins and Pins Tour is a golf tour comprised of friendly match play and stroke play competitions primarily in Connecticut and New England. The winnings and prizes are modest and consistent with the rules of the USGA regarding Amateur status; however, the Skins and Pins Tour offers a greater benefit in developing and enhancing relationships among the tour participants. In addition to competitive golf for all levels, the tour is characterized by fun, camaraderie, talk and bragging rights and of course, skin in the game.

Participation on the Skins and Pins Tour is open to golfers of all skill levels. Our goal is to provide participants with the opportunity to participate on a competitive golf tour with similarities to the PGA Tour.

Skins is a match play event where the low score among the field wins the hole and a skin; Ties push; one tie, all tie. Respective ‘pots’ will be divided by total skins made.

There are two skins pots: Gross Score Pot and Net Score Pot. Net Score will be determined by handicaps. A GHIN and USGA handicap is required for net competitions.
